Business Journalist, Heather Clancy joined as the keynote speaker and Data Technique software architect Rhett Place also gave a presentation on Google Applications, Identity Management and ConneXcloud™. Data Technique holds multi-school cloud conference at Spring Hill Unified School District
On Friday, February 12th The Unified School District in Spring Hill, Kansas hosted a cloud presentation with Data Technique. Systems analyst Rhett Place and Director of Business Development Richard Lambert were joined remotely by Google representative, Jaime Casap. Jaime presented Google's Application Suite for Schools and Rhett presented Data Technique's ConneXcloud™ Solution to the ten schools in attendance.
The majority of the schools in attendance mentioned that they were able to take away valuable knowledge about the integration of Google's Applications Suite into their infrastructure. One of the favorite concepts was how the school's personnel could increase collaboration with Google Apps. Another hot topic was ConneXcloud’s ability to provision from the school’s student information system.

Senior Systems Analyst Jared Jennings selected for Partner Customer Training Program in India
The trip to India was created because Novell realized that their developers do not have a full understanding of how customers are using products. One of Novell's partners, MindWorks.uk, decided to work with Novell to create this meeting so that these issues can be addressed. The trip comprises of a week full of adhock meetings with developers to discuss and analyze how customers use the products and how Novell could better meet these needs.
Novell wanted people that had a deep understanding of the product, the Novell vision, and also real-world examples of how the products are being used. Four others will be going on this trip and Jared will be representing the Novell Resource Management product line, which is now ZENworks Configuration Management. With 10 years of experience and daily interaction with customers all over the world in the Novell forums and with DTI customers, Jared will be able to provide the needed knowledge.

Senior Systems Analyst Jared Jennings to present at Brainshare 2010
Jared Jennings will be presenting, "Using SSH on Linux, Everyone Should Know This" at BrainShare 2010 which takes place from March 21st through the 25th. Novell BrainShare is a great opportunity to learn about new products that will shape the industry and explore existing Novell Products. In 2008 Jared hosted a session about SSH and how to use it. The session was a success with over 250 attendees in both sessions. This year should exceed that with new demo’s and content.

Martin Barber voted 2009 Data Technque Employee of the Year
Martin Barber, Data Technique's Senior Vice President has been voted by his fellow team members as Data Technique's 2009 Employee of the Year. Each year Data Technique holds its annual Fall Planning Meeting and the Employee of the Year is announced. The Data Technique team would like to congratulate Martin for his efforts that led to his selection.
Also receiving Outstanding Contributor awards were Brian Willhite, Vice-President of Professional Services and Jared Jennings, Senior Systems Analyst and Operations Manager for the Kansas City office.
