Brian joined the Data Technique, Inc. staff in June, 1996. He is a Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), a Novell Certified NetWare Engineer (CNE), as well as a Certified Directory Engineer (CDE). He specializes in network administration, troubleshooting, Internet Security, GroupWise installation and Directory Services issues, and has extensive experience in the Academic networking environment. Brian has attended the Advanced Technical Training session on Advanced NetWare 6 Troubleshooting and Services, Identity Management 2 Boot Camp, SUSE Linux Boot Camp, and as a result, obtained his Certified Linux Engineer (CLE).
Brian was lead engineer on a NetWare 6 pilot at Wal-Mart. The pilot included clustering NetWare 6 to an EMC SANs, installation and cluster enabling of FTP, NDPS/iPrint and NFAP CIFS and AFP. In addition, he is lead technical resource on a large IDM engagement involving a nationwide construction company located in Kansas City.
Preceding Data Technique Brian was the Network Administrator for Sallie Mae Corporation in Lawrence, Kansas, which now gives him 16 years in the IT field.
